What you'll learn.
Two things, really: how to recognise what you are looking at, and how much current to put through it. The first is what keeps clients safe, and it is the half most courses rush.

How it runs.
The theory is online and you finish it before you arrive. The practical is one day here, 10:00 to 17:30, on live models, with two other people at most.
Three is the number, and on this treatment it is not a comfort. You are working millimetres from somebody's eye under a magnifying lamp, and I need to be able to see what your hands are doing at the moment you do it.

Lesion identification, the physics of the current, contraindications and safe practice, worked through at your own pace before your clinic day.
One day on live models
Real clients with real lesions, which is the only way to learn this: a skin tag on a photograph tells you nothing about how much current it needs.

Under magnification, with me beside you. Consultation, consent and records are part of it, because on broken skin the paperwork is clinical rather than administrative.

Blemish removal training in this country runs from about £65 to £1,300 plus VAT. Ours sits in the middle, so the question is not why it costs more, it is what the day actually contains.

What qualifications do I need before I can train in advanced electrolysis?
Usually a Level 3 behind you, and insurers generally check. Advanced electrolysis is a clinical skill on broken skin, so what you already hold matters more here than on most courses. Send me what you have before you pay for anything and I will tell you honestly whether it counts.
What is the difference between electrolysis and advanced electrolysis?
Ordinary electrolysis removes hair permanently, one follicle at a time. Advanced electrolysis uses the same current on a much finer scale to treat blemishes: skin tags, milia, thread veins, blood spots and sebaceous hyperplasia. Same physics, different target, and a different insurance conversation.
What can I charge for these treatments?
Treatments in this range typically charge from around £60 to £250 or more, depending on how many lesions are treated and your local market. Most clients come back, because one appointment rarely clears everything, and that is what makes it worth adding.
Is this a regulated qualification?
No. It is CPD training in advanced electrolysis. There is a regulated Level 4 Award in skin blemish removal available elsewhere in the UK, and if that is specifically what you need, it is worth knowing before you book anything, including this.
Does the course include the machine?
No. Expect to budget separately for equipment, and choose it after the course rather than before: what you buy depends on which lesions you intend to treat and how often. I will tell you what I use and why, and what I would avoid.
How many of us will be on the practical day?
Three maximum. This is precision work on somebody else's face, performed under magnification, and it is the smallest group I teach for exactly that reason. You cannot learn it from the back of a room.
